            This video is an advertisement of Audi. This is the most interesting ad I have seen. It compares with other four brands of cars, and it uses the benefits of each of them. What do you want of a car: the design of Alfa Romeo, the comfort of Benz, the safety of Volvo, and the sportiness of BMW. Audi is comprised by these advantages, in other words, these advantages make a perfect car, and it is just Audi. The company is brave to produce this advertisement because they compare their cars to others. They try to say our car is your best choice because we have all advantages of other brands’ cars. The slogan “in one car only” is very attractive to consumers. This ad is very successful because it is very simple and very impressive.

  1. Yes, it is so simple and powerful because it is saying that their cars are combination of advantages that other brands' cars have. Their logo symbolizes that idea. It seems saying we work on that motivation and the customer will get the benefits when they own it.

  2. It leads the audiences’ attention by asking a question “what do you want in a car” and illustrates the answers. It does not say Audi has all the advantages of the other cars have, but it uses the wealsel words “in one car” and follows their logo. It seems saying the cars they design contain the all the five advantages. So, the goal of advertisement is using wealsel words to play audiences illusion; the audiences will image that the advantages that other brands car have and Audi has as the effect even though it does not claim this idea.

  3. The whole advertisement uses appela to emotions, but it's acturally full of weasel word. The company asked several questions to make you think of what do you want in a car. However, they didn't promise that they have these advantage.

    1. Yes, I agreen with you. The ad try to confuse costomers. They do not introduce their cars directly.

    2. But I think maybe it is because audi is already a brand famous for its safety and comfot, so the ad does not introduce the car directly. I do not think it has a link with weasal words
